The recipes I prepare are some of my favorites from my childhood. Most dishes are reminiscent of my family's history in the Hawaiian Islands. The ingredients are organic, locally sourced and ethically produced. At the urging of my wife and daughter, I also prepare a selection of unique, vegetarian and vegan dishes. In every recipe, I include the love and care my parents put into every meal they prepared for our family.

Let's plan an informal gathering for from 6 to 10 guests. The meal plan will include a selection of appetizers, refreshing organic salads, a main dish with sides and a dessert that brings the whole meal together.
Hand-made vegetarian potstickers with green onion and lemon/shoyu dipping sauce. Each is made with care, filled with finely minced vegetables and include several varieties of organic mushrooms to bring body and substance to the beginning of your meal.
A refreshing, organic hearts of romaine salad with tomato, spring onions and miso ginger dressing. The combination of fresh, crisp greens, savory onions and creamy dressing is the perfect bridge to your Main Dish.
Shoyu Chicken Ono Sauce and rice. This dish is a favorite comfort food in the Islands, and will bring joy to your dining experience.
Green tea ice cream with mint leaves and lemon zest. This refreshing dessert, combined with seasonal fruit, is the perfect conclusion to your meal.
A festive meal served family style with large portions that can be enjoyed and shared over a large dining table filled with platters overflowing with Hawaiian culinary favorites.
SPAM or vegetarian Musubi, wrapped in dried seaweed and sprinkled with salty, savory Furikake. This Island favorite can even serve as a main dish, but when cut into finger-sized portions, becomes the perfect appetizer.
Hawaiian Fried Rice with SPAM, egg and sautéed vegetables prepared according to Masami Chun's original family recipe. When cooked quickly in a wok, Hawaiian Fried Rice is a combination of many traditional ingredients that take on the smokey flavor from the Wok Hei.
Artisanal Mochi with fresh seasonal fruit and berries.
All meals are made from organic, locally sourced products.
We like to meet with our clients to create a meal that is an exciting dining experience with healthy ingredients and authentic recipes that fit the spirit and tone of any occasion.
